Camp KEEP for Amy B. Seibert students was great. The students appreciated learning about science in a whole new environment.

Content becomes real to children at Camp KEEP. They learn about different ecosystems and habitats.

For many of these students, it is the first time that they have actully seen the ocean.

Students shown in this picture are examining life in the tidepools at Montana De Oro.  Sea urchins, sea anemonies, star fish and hermit crabs are among the few items they see.

They smell the ocean, touch the animals,  and hear the crashing of the waves behind them.

Their surroundings are a reminder of how important it is to care for the environment.
