The Writers of Kern are delighted that The Northwest Voice Editor, Dana Martin, will be the featured speaker at our October 18th meeting. As all connected to The Northwest Voice and The Southwest Voice know, she is a dynamo of energy and has the ability to convey enthusiasum, confidence, and pride in all she does. Dana is also a published author of short stories in several magazines. She will talk to the club and attendees about how to submit, what magazines are looking for, and where the best markets are for short stories. Of course we hope she will give us some insight into her success with The Northwest Voice, a marvelous community newspaper and how to submit stories. Don't miss this meeting. You will learn, be entertained and certainly go away motivated. Be at the Wyndham Hotel on Saturday, October 18, at 10am to meet Dana in person. Fee for attendance is $10.00.
