Bakersfield College Students,we had such a wonderful time distributing the NT Recovery Version "Study Bible" to BC students and staff. We distributed over 140 New Testament Recovery Version  "Study Bibles" in 5 hours and gave away many FREE New Testament "Bible Study" brochures to give to their friends or family members.  If you missed us, you can go to www.biblesforamerica.org to request your FREE "Study Bible".  Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.  If you would like your "Study Bible" sooner, please visit Let His Word Run in Bakersfield or send us an email and one of our local volunteers can deliver it.

Today's Topic (Using the Recovery Version Study Bible):

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of Him, both His eternal power and 1divine characteristics, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, 2being perceived by the things made, so that they would be without excuse

(Footnote 202) Man can perceive the invisible things of God by observing the visible things created by Him.  Both the eternal power of God and the divine characteristics that express God's intrinsic nature and manifested in God's creation.  For example, the abundace of light in the universe shows that light is a divine characteristic, a divine attribute of the divine nature (James 1:17). The same is true of beauty and life.
