Bakersfield Southwest 12U All-Stars took 1st place at PONY District Tournament at Greenfield

The 2008 Bakersfield Southwest 12U All-Stars took 1st place at the 2008 PONY District Tournament at Greenfield PONY on July 3rd-6th.  They placed 1st among five other PONY All-Star teams. 

The results of each game are as follows:

 - Game 1 vs. Greenfield All-Stars - Win 19-0

 - Game 2 vs. Palmdale All-Stars - Won 19-3

 - Game 3 vs. Indian Wells Valley All-Stars - Won 8-3

 - Championship Game vs. Lancaster All-Stars - Won 15-0

 

They now advance to Sectionals at Westhills this weekend July 11-13:

 

Game 1 vs. North region PONY Dist 4th place July 11th @ 5:00

Game 2 vs. Ojai Dist Runner Up July 12th @ 11:00

 

The Bakersfield 12U All-Stars are managed by Steve Morrison and coached by Randy Tippitt and John Cooney. The team roster includes: Drew Allen, Nolan Cooney, Junior Felix, Cameron Moore, Alex Noriega, Nick Parke, Mason Perryman, Chris Sakowski, Zac Sullivan, Zach Tanner, Carver Tippitt, Allan Winans.
