The 2008 Bakersfield Southwest 12U All-Stars took 1st place at The 3rd Annual Santa Ynez Summer Classic baseball tournament in Santa Ynez, CA on June 28th & 29th.  They placed 1st among six other So Cal based All-Star teams. 

The results of each game are as follows:

 - Game 1 vs. Ojai All-Stars - Win 9-0

 - Game 2 vs. Simi Valley All-Stars - Won 7-3

 - Game 3 vs. Ventura All-Stars - Won 8-4

 - Championship Game vs. Simi Valley All-Stars - Won 7-6

 

They will play their first PONY All-Star tournament this Holiday weekend at the Greenfield Baseball complex:

 

Game 1 vs. Greenfield All-Stars July 4th @ 9:00

Game 2 vs. Palmdale All-Stars July 4th @ 1:30

 

The Bakersfield 12U All-Stars are managed by Steve Morrison and coached by Randy Tippitt and John Cooney. The team roster includes: Drew Allen, Nolan Cooney, Junior Felix, Cameron Moore, Alex Noriega, Nick Parke, Mason Perryman, Chris Sakowski, Zac Sullivan, Zach Tanner, Carver Tippitt, Allan Winans.
