LAUNCHES THE 2008 SUMMER READING PROGRAM

“CATCH THE READING BUG!”

Discover the amazing world of insects this summer by joining the “Catch the Reading Bug!” Summer Reading Program @ your Kern County Library Bookmobile from June 2 – July 26.

The Bookmobile will be in your area

EVERY WEDNESDAY

5:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Rosedale Shopping Center/Northwest Promenade

The Bookmobile will offer all of its Summer Reading Club members the opportunity to get a prize out of the “Catch the Reading Bug” Reading Treasure Chest every time they visit the bookmobile from June 2 –July 26.  ALSO, all members who read at least 10 books on their own or have them read to them will receive a FREE paperback book, donated by the Friends of the Kern County Library, upon return of their official reading record signed by a parent or guardian to the Bookmobile.
