Livestock animals being sold at the swap meet & carnivals
..
I just got done reading the stuff from the last animal control meeting..
Are you kidding me ? Section 7.08.370.. This has to be a joke. Are there really to many birds, fish, poultry & livestock ect, being sold at swap meets & carnivals here in Kern County ?
I have not been to the county shelter for a while. But the last time I was there, I dont remember it being over run by any of these animals.. Does this mean kids can no longer win a gold fish at the fair or school carnivals ?
This really has to be joke.. Kern County has gone over board..
Most poultry and what have you being sold at swap meets, are being sold as meat, or laying hens..
With the price of gas these days, I am sure there are going to be more people buying hens for eggs.
I really dont think the people of Kern County & Bakersfield know what they are being set up for by Animal Control.
I cant not beleave with everything going on in the world right now, people cant even afford the gas to get to work, & are lossing their home.
I hate to say it, but its time to throw everyone out at Animal Control, & start all over again..
If this is the best you can do..
& there is still nothing on how or what the county shelter can do to find homes for the animals..
A nother way to blame the plubic for AC not doing their job.
