Slidin' Stars

Bakersfield's Newest Equestrain Drill Team

Slidin Stars is a non-profit western equestrain drill team. We have eight riders with previous equestrain drill experience and has performed at rodeos, horse shows and parades. We work together to improve our skills as we ride to choreographed patterns synchronized to the beat of music. The Drill Team is looking for wonderful new members with a love for riding and having fun, between the ages of 14 and up. Bring a friend or come make new ones! We will introduce you and your horse to drill maneuvers. Safety is most important to our team, horse and rider need to be able to work safely with each other (and be in control.) You will need a horse and transportation for all practices and performances.

Our practices are held on Thursday nights at 7:00 P.M. at Rancho Rio Stables in Bakersfield, for information, please contact: Julie Glenn 333-9754 or julglenn@bak.rr.com
