The Bakersfield Art Association is pleased to announce the featured artist for the month of May at Dagny’s Coffee Co. is Michelle Stone. Michelle is primarily a self-taught artist and has been painting professionally since 1995. She is known for her highly-detailed and lifelike wall murals and decorative accents as well as Trompe L’oeil (French term meaning “fool the eye”). During the last three years Michelle has been painting and showing works on canvas. See more of her work at wallflowersmurals.com.
