The Southwest Voice prides itself not only in providing a thorough, professional product for our community, but also in creating a usable, family-friendly publication. We are lucky enough to boast some outstanding writers — from our regular contributors, to our columnists, to those of you who took a chance at writing your first article or submitting that first photo.
To continue updating our paper and to provide new and interesting content, we will now offer a regular column offered by no other local paper. Instead of “Dear Abby,” The Southwest Voice proudly announces a new advice column called “Hey, Dad.”
Why a dad, you ask? Well, as Dwayne Ardis will tell you, sometimes only a dad’s advice will do. Plus, as Ardis points out, there are other columns giving advice from a female perspective, but advice from a man’s point of view is harder to find.
You will find “Hey, Dad” in upcoming issues of The Southwest Voice, but you will also find him on the Web under blogs.
In order to contact Dad, visit: www.swvoice.com and submit your questions directly to his blog (also note that your questions can remain anonymous by clicking on the button to post responses anonymously).
Enjoy this new feature, and don’t forget to stop by and welcome Dad to our Southwest family.
