The Dixie Nuts, Dixieland musicians from Shafter, were featured at a fundraising dinner at First Congregational Church on April 5. Proceeds from New Orleans Night will help fund a church work trip of about 10 volunteers to New Orleans in July to clean up houses and churches for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
