O Lord, Father of all, blessed is your name. I praise your knowledge and wisdom and sing praise to the skills to which you have bestowed upon me. Your guidance of my direction in life is of utmost importance. I strive to do good in order to bring glory and praise to your name. My efforts shall always be performed in a manner that they will bring me closer to you, for you are my umbrella and my inspiration in life. Guide and protect me, that I may stand in the shadow of your power, remaining humble and faithful, so as to receive your mercy. In Jesus’ name.

I wrote this personal Psalm during a Bakersfield "Community Bible Study" of the Book of Romans and it was one of my Mother's favorite prayers while she was alive. It is also a challenge for each of you to write YOUR own "Personal Psalm"
