I look upon the greening hills
And see spring has arrived;
Awakening from a winter’s sleep,
Dam Nature has survived.
The bulbs and buds awake, rejoice,
To showers of the spring,
The orchards bloom, and in the trees
The bright-red cardinals sing.
I feel the touch of springtime too,
With blooming of the earth.
Again, Easter reminds us of
Renewal and rebirth.
