4th Semi-Annual HUGE Consignment Event for FAMILIES!

Little Feet Repeats is holding their 4^th semi-annual consignment event that gives local parents the ability to easily have their outgrown/unused baby, children, teen and maternity items sold to other parents who can use them for their own families. Participating families bring their quality children, teen and maternity clothing, toys, furniture and baby equipment to Little Feet Repeats’ sale location (3201 F Street; Golden State Mall – The Old Montgomery Wards Building). Little Feet Repeats then returns up to 75% of the sales price to the consigning families, which allows them to earn some money on items that their children no longer need. Plus, they can use that extra money to find deals on other things that they may need for their baby or child. “I love having one place where I can easily sell my kid’s items and even shop for new things for them while I’m there!" said local Kern County mom, Christina Rothman.

At the end of the sale, consignors can have their unsold items donated to The Bakersfield Homeless Center. The donated items will then be distributed directly to families that are currently in need of help and support through The Bakersfield Homeless Center. According to Barbara Paulson, Basic Needs Supervisor at The Bakersfield Homeless Center, “Donations will be used for families onsite and for those families moving out into their own home.” The majority of the people at the center are women and children and many times arrive with few possessions, if any at all.

Little Feet Repeats began out of a dream of a local stay-at-home mom to be able to have one place for gently used, good quality, and reasonably priced items for her family and the families of Kern County. “I would go from yard sale to yard sale, trying to find good quality items for my fast-growing children, and decided that there must be a better way to do this,” said owner, Carla McCoy, “and now I am excited to have created this win-win situation for everyone involved.”
