February is the birthdays of two of America’s great presidents: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. So I have written this poem:
America is Beautiful
America has everything!
It’s beautiful and grand
From borderlands to coastal seas,
From plain to desert sand.
America has little towns,
Great mountains towering high,
Metropolis and countryside
Beneath a heavenly sky.
America’s United States
Has citizens all free.
From Maine to California
A land of liberty.
