DRIVEN Volleyball Club is a new local (non-traveling) high school girls volleyball club. We play March through mid-June. This is going to be our second year and we are looking to get the word out to the Southwest area. There are many girls playing volleyball for their schools, but not all of them have the financial means or time to play with a club team off season to improve their skills.

DRIVEN was developed as an option for girls who cannot commit to traditional club requirements. This also allows girls to play a winter sport for their school and still be on a volleyball team during the off season.

Another main focus is on character building. We have each player and her parents sign a sportsmanship contract at registration to make very clear the kind of behavior we expect to see (and what we do not want to see, such as profanity). Last year seemed very successful and we did not have any problems with bad attitudes.

We practice two nights a week and have a monthly tournament at Calvary Bible Church gym. Cost is $300. For more information contact Jody Banducci at 599-4610.
