Ode to Africa is the theme for several activities at First Congregational Church, 5 Real Road (at Stockdale Highway), on Nov. 10. Events include a Fair Trade bazaar, food, the Omnipresent Puppet Theatre at 11 a.m., a book talk and a movie.
The goal is to educate the community about the plight of residents of Darfur, Sudan, culminating in a church service on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. with the Tents of Hope organizer Rev. Tim Nonn of Petaluma.
