The 2007-08 season for the Dolphins Colorguard is about to begin. Each year, the colorguard, under the direction of studio owner Diane Overstreet, colorguard instructor Leslie Aguilar and assistance from Cecilia Ortiz, the current director of the South High Rebelettes, work hard learning how to spin flags, polishing dance routines and working as a team to put together an awesome winterguard routine. The colorguard performs at the local PPAACC circuit, as well as out of town competitions. Every year since 2003, the guard has finished in the top three at the PPAACC finals competition. As well as competitions, the Dolphins Colorguard participates in fun activities such as, swim parties, holiday parties, barbecues and making life long friends.

The Dolphins Colorguard meets on Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 8 PM at the Dolphins Dance and Cheer Studio located at 2301 Fruitvale Ave. The guard is now accepting new members. No experience is necessary. You just need to be in 3rd to 8th grades. You can call the Dolphins Studio at 322-3322 for more information..
