St. Patty’s Day Photo Contest: Double Rainbow

0 responses 1 comment Bakersfield is below normal for rainfall this season so rainbows tend to be scarce.  However, last March, on St. Patrick's Day (3/17/06), I walked out of my garage, spotted this scene, and ran back for my camera to get a shot of this rare event.  My only regret was that I don't own a wide angle lens that would have allowed me to capture the entire arcs.
