The Bakersfield Art Association is sponsoring an art exhibit, “Scenes of our Home Town”, during the month of March at their Gallery of Art in the East Hills Mall. Members of the Gallery are providing artwork of buildings, landmarks, parks, gardens, streets, farms, orchards, etc. in and surrounding Bakersfield. A free reception for the artists will be held at the Gallery on Friday, March 9, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Gallery of Art is located at the East Hills Mall and is open from 11:00 to 5:00 daily except Mondays.
