Many people of significance exist in my life who inspire and encourage me to succeed, like my dad, mom, teacher, aunts, uncles, and my grandma.

The person who inspires me the most, though, is my 6-year-old sister.

My sister Andrea inspires me with her carefree attitude and desire to have fun 24/7.

When you get older its harder to do things without a certain reason. Andrea doesn’t think things over too much. She is not afraid of anything because all she knows is how to play dress-up and how to love her family.

My sister doesn’t really know what inspire or significance mean, so it will be difficult to interview her. I’m going to tell you a few of her stories before I interview her.

During the summer we were going to have game night and invite our family over. Everyone we had invited was going to come except for Uncle Jose. My sister and I really wanted him to join us. I knew that asking "Please, please, please?" wouldn’t change his mind. My sister, though, called him on the phone and said that she wouldn’t give him any bubble gum anymore if he didn’t come. We all thought that it wasn’t as simple as that, but Andrea didn’t. She tried something so simple and it worked. My uncle came over and had dinner with us.

Last year when our school had the talent show, my sister and I were going to enter together. It takes a lot of guts to get up on that stage and sing. I was afraid of what everyone would think and it turned out that I didn’t do it. My sister sang and danced in the show by herself and it was great. She didn’t know what being embarrassed meant, and she was not afraid of what people were going to say. She just did it.

Now let's see how the interviewing goes.

Andrea, tell me what was going through your mind when you called your Uncle Jose and told him that you wouldn’t give him anymore gum if he didn’t come.

She said, “I was thinking that I would never give him candy for rest of his life.”

If Jose would had said no, what would you of done?

“I would have yelled on the phone and said he wouldn’t ever get any food.”

Let's talk about the talent show you were in. Would you of cared if people made fun of you at the talent show?

At first she said, “ I’d have yelled in their face and gotten some ham and thrown it in their face.” But then she said, “Wait, don’t put that, that’s mean.”

Her final answer was, “Yes, I would have told my sister because she would have protected me.”

You can see Andrea is very open-minded about her answers.

Hopefully others will be inspired in the same way I was with my sister’s actions. Next time don’t think too much before doing something.
