I loved  “The adoption option” story in the Nov. 29 edition.
My husband and I have three biological daughters. We became foster parents to help out my husband’s step-sister when her son was taken from her.  We ended up adopting our step-nephew, but have continued to foster other children.
In the end, we have adopted two more little boys — brothers. We couldn’t stand the thought of them not being together, and we had both of them from birth. We have a very good relationship with their biological mother, and intend to keep in contact with her.
Foster parenting is a great way to show God’s love to others and have an impact on their lives. Sometimes, you’re blessed enough to be able to add more love to your family through adoption. Our family is eight strong now: three girls, three boys, and Mom and Dad.
