Stockdale High School senior Romesha Anderson signed early with the University of Southern Mississippi.  Anderson won the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash at a South Area meet. Her time of 12.06 seconds in the 100 was the fastest time in the section last season.  Anderson also won the Central Section title in the 100.
Ridgeview High School senior Brandi Gutierrez signed early with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. As a first team all-area selection as a junior, Gutierrez batted .465 with four home runs, six triple plays, nine double plays and 25 RBIs last season.
