0 responses 0 comments As a volunteer reader for the new Grandma’s Attic reading program at the Southwest Branch Library on Ming Avenue, I would like to thank The Southwest Voice for publishing information about our program. 
We would also like to invite all parents with children between the ages of 5 and 8 to come to the Southwest library, 8301 Ming Ave., on Dec. 9, at 10:30 a.m. for a free program of fun children’s stories! On that day, our reader will be Amy Lum, who recently retired from the Panama-Buena Vista School District, plus her guest readers, and surprises for all who attend! 
Even though stories read are geared toward children in kindergarten through third grade, all members of the family are invited to attend!
Preschool story time is held on Thursday mornings each week for the younger children. Come and help your child find the magic in books!
