The Valaam Ensemble, a celebrated quintet of male singers from the Valaam Monastery in northern Russia, will perform in concert at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 401 Truxtun Ave.,  as part of their annual tour of the Northwest.
The performance on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m., will feature traditional folk songs, liturgical hymns and chants from the musical traditions of northern Russia.
The performance will follow a traditional Greek chicken dinner served at 6 p.m. in the Hellenic Hall,  as well as an orthodox blessing of the Russian Church at 7:30 p.m. in the historic mini-cathedral.
Dinner is $15 for adults and $4 for children. The concert is free and open to the public.
Tickets are required and can be purchased at Kosmos Restaurant & Sports Bar, Strategos Medical Group, Chris Liquors or the church office. For more information, call 325-8694.
