The Parent Resource Center of the Panama Buena Vista Union School District will be offering a free workshop, “Internet Safety,” on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tevis Junior High in the multipurpose room at 3901 Pin Oak Park Blvd. 
Susan Wiggins, director of the Parent Resource Center, detective Rich Winslow and Cindy London from the Bakersfield Police Department will be putting on a presentation to teach parents about the dangers and safety precautions associated with using the Internet.
