ELYSE WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

0 responses 0 comments Elyse will be teaching a two-day watercolor workshop on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 & 22, from 9:30 - 4:00 at the Bakersfield Art Association Gallery in the East Hills Mall.  Fee for the workshop is $85 for members and $95 for nonmembers.  The BAA Gallery is located at the East Hills Mall near the east entrance and is open from 11:00 to 5:00 daily except Mondays.  For more information call the Gallery at 872-2806.

Elyse Campus Cohen, a California-based artist who professionally goes simply by the name of Elyse, has gained an international reputation for her luminous watercolors, particularly her close-up, textured, dappled images of flowers.  She has participated in gallery exhibitions around the world and her works are in numerous corporate as well as private collections and museums.  Samples of her work can be viewed on her website at www.elyseartstudio.com.  Elyse will give a free demonstration at the Gallery of Art on Friday, October 20, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
