Boy Scouts of America - Meridian District congratulates three outstanding young men on their completion of the highest rank in Boy Scouting: the Eagle Scout award.
Conor Heath, Nick Simons and Keith Koski each appeared before the District Board of Review on Wednesday, July 5. After completing the review process each was awarded the rank of Eagle.
Among the many requirements to earn the Eagle rank a scout must plan, organize and supervise to completion a project to benefit the community.
Conor Heath - Troop 472, completed his Eagle project by installing an interpretive garden for the Civil War interactive displays at Fort Tejon State Park.
Nick Simons - Troop 712, completed his Eagle project by refurbishing over 500 crosses placed on veterans' gravesites during Memorial Day weekend at Hillcrest Park and Mortuary.
Keith Koski - Troop 484, completed his Eagle project by building stair steps to help the Early Start MOVE children with development of their gross motor skills at the C. W. Richardson Center.
Congratulations, Conor, Nick and Keith!
