Stapp, who had a 3.57 GPA as a seventh grader at Tevis Junior High, extended his hitting streak to 17 games this week as the Rangers clinched first place in the Bronco A division at the Bakersfield Southwest Baseball league with a 15-1-1 record. For the season, Stapp is hitting .693 with three home runs, seven doubles and 20 RBIs and has a 5-0 record as a pitcher.
