Linda Benson and her husband, Jack have lived in Southwest Bakersfield for the last 39 years.They have two children and are now raising their niece, Kassie. Both are retired and enjoy spending time at Pismo Beach.
ORTEGA POTATOES
6 medium potatoes
½ cube butter (melted)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
¾ c chopped green onion
1 ½ c grated cheddar cheese
7 oz can whole Ortega chilies (chopped)
Boil potatoes and cut into 1-inch cubes.
Mix together all ingredients and pour into a 9 x l3 pan.
Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
