The annual school track meet was held April 3 and 4 with fourth- through sixth-graders participating. The top two places go on to the Panama Buena Vista Union School District meet at CSUB.
A fun time was had by all, despite the rain.
Two traditions held at the meet consisted of music being played and the male and female teacher relays.
The students enjoyed listening to music while running and groovin’ to the chicken dance and other favorites.
The teacher relay is always a favorite part for all students and teachers at Seibert.
The winning relay teams from the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade classes run against the team of four teachers.
The three girls’ teams take on the women staff, who do their best not to take last, while the three boys’ teams run against the male teachers, who are almost impossible to beat!
