Bakersfield Community Theater. The next show we have coming up is a very cute
youth show, "Charlotte's Web". It is being directed by Tim Fromm. The
production dates are July 18, 19, 25 & 26 @ 7:00 PM and July 20 & 27 @
2:00 PM. Adult prices are $7.00 and children between 5-12, students, active military & Seniors

Fourth Annual Fine Arts Camp - Christ's Church of the Valley

Christ's Church of the Valley is pleased to present our fourth annual Fine Arts Camp from July 21 - 26. Learn how to sing, dance, act, create costumes, design and build sets or write scripts in this week-long summer camp. Students age eight through thirteen are invited to join us as we work towards the goal of presenting an incredible adventure-themed musical on Saturday evening complete with an audience of family and friends. No previous experience is necessary.

This year our camp will be held from Monday, July 21 through Saturday, July 26 - 8:30 am to 11:50 am, Monday through Friday with a closing pram Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. All students are required to attend each session, plus the closing program.

The cost is $75 per student. If more than one child from the same household attends the camp, there is a $5 discount per child. Fees are non-refundable after Monday, July 14. Preregistration is encouraged as space is limited.

Learn to Meditate!

The Bakersfield Meditation Society offers Free classes in meditation, relaxation, and personal and professional development. Beginners are always welcome! Meditation is a process of quieting your thoughts and reaching happier and higher states of mind. Meditation instruction and a short meditation are included in each class. Classes are held at the Greenacres Community Center from 7-8 pm.
