About Peg

As a grandmother of 9 and a great grandmother of nine I have ample stories from their growing up years, so after retirement in 1994 I began writing children's novels and short stories.  I have 2 published books out, Grannies' Critters and Grannies's Shorts which are both collections of short stories for children from 4 to 12.  I have a middle grade novel in the process of being published by Publish America and it should be out late this year.

I belong to the Writers of Kern and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and I have been in a Memoirs Class held at Greenfield Senior Center for almost 2 years.  My traveling days to out of town book signings have slowed since I'm on oxygen 24/7.

I have 4 children, Punky and Rusty live in Bakersfield and my oldest son Tim lives in Delano.  My baby, Kelly, lives in Corona.  They have all given me beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Writing has been my passion since I was young and I continue to dabble in writing new stories for kids. I love to see their faces when you read something that tweaks their interest.  

My books are featured at Russos Marketplace, Borders, and Barnes & Noble.
