The Bakersfield Art Association is pleased to announce the featured artist for the month of May at Russo’s Books at the Marketplace is Mary Lou Slinkard. Mary Lou is primarily a western artist and her lovely oil paintings include cowboys, animals, and children. She has won numerous awards for her artwork at the fair and local art competitions.
