The Dixie Nuts, Dixieland musicians from Shafter, were featured at a fundraising dinner at First Congregational Church on April 5.  Proceeds from New Orleans Night will help fund a church work trip of about 10 volunteers to New Orleans in July to clean up houses and churches for victims of Hurricane Katrina.  For details or donations, contact David Campbell at 872-3646.
