Having years of experience, I know that being in a band is a difficult task. First, a band has to have some shred of talent. Once that major bridge is crossed, however, there are countless other aspects that require constant attention: the vision of the band, the commitment level and availability of the members, the style of music to produce and most importantly the message to deliver through the music.
The latter of these categories is one of the most crucial because a band's message can range from childish to romantic, common thought to controversial and everything in between. Interestingly, one of the most controversial messages to deliver through music is the message of Jesus Christ. The label of "Christian" in the music industry is often the equivalent of social suicide.
