Have you ever been somewhere where there is a child hurting and you wanted to do something, anything? Project Linus is 100% volunteer organization that lovingly provides new, handmade blankets to children in our local area. Nationally Project Linus has been in existence for 12 years. Our local chapter was started in January of 2006 & in just over 18 months we have delivered approximately 2300 blankets have been donated to children in crisis. Project Linus currently delivers approximately 180 blankets per month to individuals and organizations in the area.  Once a month our community volunteer “blanketeers” get together to make blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus accepts blankets made with fleece, cotton fabric & flannel. We also accept crocheted & knitted afghans. All sizes are acceptable as we provide for children up to 18 years of age.
