I want to nominate Mr. Elison, my sixth-grade teacher at Castle Elementary, for Educator of the Month.
Mr. Elison is a great teacher! His devotion and dedication to all of his students is really awesome. Most of us in Mr. Elison's sixth-grade class have excelled in areas like math, science and writing, which are areas that most of us kids had a hard time in. He takes the time to listen to us and our voices matter to him. He is really good at teaching us without us knowing. If any of us need help or don't understand something he makes time and he will find other ways to help us learn something we are having problems with. I believe Mr. Elison was born to teach. It's hard to motivate us kids. I hear teachers and parents talk about how hard it is all the time. Not for Mr. Elison, motivating us comes easy for him. He has a lot of patience and a positive attitude that just adds to the many things that make him a great teacher. Mr. Elison has us write an essay once a week on...
