Q: I’m a Southwest resident, and would like to know what’s new with the Castle & Cooke Gosford Village shopping center at Gosford and Harris roads.

A: Thank you for your question. We asked Castle & Cooke spokesperson Renee Massey for an update. This was her response:
Castle & Cooke is in the process of satisfying court requirements, which involves restudying a few items the Environmental Impact Report. We are confident that the new studies will meet the requirements and are hopeful that we will be released to start construction again at the shopping center by the end of next year. At this point, since we have had to stop construction, we do not have any new stores to announce. Right now stores there are:
Sam’s Club
Kohl’s
Starbucks
Petco
Walgreen’s
Panda Palace
