I visited P.F. Chang’s restaurant Sept. 28 at 9 p.m.
P.F. Chang’s is a chain of restaurants that have been around since 1993 and have established themselves nationwide.
Due to the late hour, we were seated within minutes, but if you come at the regular dinner time you can expect a much longer wait.
Outside the restaurant was a larger-than-life stone horse which sets the mood for the restaurant.
When we first walked in three different people welcomed us.
The contemporary Asian interior was richly decorated with exotic woods and slate. The overall color scheme was in earth tones and implemented natural materials. The dining room resembled a great hall, with booths along the perimeter and tables in the center. Birds of paradise plants were used to add a splash of color, and replicas of ancient Chinese terra cotta soldiers stood against the back wall. An ornate mural decorated one wall and added to the ambiance.
