It’s time again to give to a worthy charity and get fabulous decorating ideas simultaneously.
The Bakersfield Showcase House of Design will take place Sept. 1 through 10 and will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., including Labor Day. This is the seventh year for this event, which benefits Club Zion Youth Ministries.
The 2006 Showcase House of Design is a Tuscan-inspired home built by Bailey Custom Homes in the upscale Talladega community in Northwest Bakersfield. You’ll tour the house and gardens and get lots of new ideas for your own home. You’ll also enjoy shopping at the many boutiques and dining on delicious Italian cuisine provided by Frugatti’s.
The Bakersfield Showcase House of Design is produced as an annual benefit, combining the efforts of countless volunteers, contractors and designers who transform the interior and grounds of an estate selected by the BSHD.
