We have all heard the news and it’s not new news. It has not been new news for almost 4,000 years.
You can’t turn on the television or read the newspaper without hearing or reading about war in the Middle East.
There seems to be conflict continually in the Middle East, specifically between the nation of Israel, a Jewish state, and her neighboring Arab countries of Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
The conflict in the Middle East comes down to one issue: land. All wars come down to one thing: land.
One group wants something that the other group has and a fight breaks out and a war takes place to possess it. This has been going on since the days of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to whom the land was given by the Lord, according to the scriptures.
When a war breaks out in the world today, the United Nations’ desire is to step in and seek peace if at all possible, or to at least make sure the fight is fair, if that is even remotely possible.
