As we think about our learning opportunities during the summer, we are able to remember the many who have gone before us to help establish our freedom in this country.  It's appropriate to reflect about these things as we approach our country's birthday. We will perhaps think of past Fourth of July holidays and those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom with their lives.The fifth grade enrichment class at Reagan School has been studying significant people in our nation's history, particularly as they relate to the freedoms we enjoy in our country. Examples include Abigail Adams and different presidents including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who had a dream of equality for all under the law; known as liberty.  As a culmination to this study, the Reagan fifth grade will perform, “I Remember Martin Luther King Jr., an American Celebration of Freedom,” written by Ruth Roberts, on...
