Mrs. Moore teaches sixth grade at Lakeside School District. She is really special and takes our education directly to her interest. She provides help and makes sure everyone understands the math lessons or science homework. Mrs. Moore also creates fun projects and science labs like safe volcanic explosions. She encourages us to join activities, like Math Field Day. Math lessons are always thorough and she shows many examples. But best of all, she’s funny, gentle and caring –– all the characteristics the perfect teacher should have.Nominated by Wendi Wu
