Learn to dance, meet new people and become more physically fit!
Come and join the Bakersfield Salseros every Sunday at The Double Tree Hotel in Club Odyssey. Located right off the 99 freeway and Rosedale Highway right her in beautiful Bakersfield.
Sunday dance lessons are for people of all ages and ability. No partner or prior dance experience necessary.
- Beginning Level 1 Salsa with Tj the Salsa Mama will teach you the basics from 3:00 to 4:00 with her Beginning Salsa class. Cost is $5.00 per person, open entry class.
- 4:00 to 5:00 Beginning Progressive Technique class for students who have completed the beginnig level 1 serries of lessons. This class is designed to help beginners to learn to modify basic moves to expand their dancing repitoir. Prerequisit completion of Beginning Level 1 lessons. Cost $5.00 per person
- 5:00 to 6:00 Intermediate/Advanced Patterns with Ed Rivera. Classes will take intermediate Salsa dancers to a new level with intricate patterns sure to thrill any dancer. Prerequisite completion of both beginning level 1 and progressive serries and approval by instructors. Cost $5.00 per person.
Dancing is provided for all students from 6:00 to 8:00 by DJ Lorenzo and DJ Lalo.
