Softballjoe - > Kern County Softball -> Another day,,,,,,,,,
Another day,,,,,,,,,
Another day has come and gone,  I don't think people understand how much work is involved it putting the All-star Softball Game on? Have raised about 1/2 of the money needed to put this on so far, guess I better check my bank account for the funds?  I can't understand why people won't support women's sports in this city? I remember a couple of years ago when the main news paper of Bakersfield ran the boy's baseball opening day ceremonies on front page of sports section and had two (2) pages in middle of it , in color, telling all about the boy's. The headline was "FUTURE PRO'S HAVE OPENING DAY", or something like that? They didn't even send anyone to the girls opening day, and there were 1000 people there for it? Is the girls sports as important as the boy's, just watch the local paper about all the ladies signing to play with colleges all around the county! Well, off my soap box for today.
