Catching my breath
The all-star game came off even better than I hopped for. The players all got lot's of playing time and seemed to enjoy the experence. The east team won both gamesby scores of 2-0 in first game and 13-5 in second game.  We had at least 6 college coaches in atttendance and I saw them talking to alot of the players.

I would like to thank Mayor Harvey Hall for his help. Thanks to Kristing Karr-Jacobson our Kern County Woman of Softball for driving down from Lake Taho for the event.  Thanks to the staff that helped put thi event on, with out their help this couldn't happen.

Plans are already under way for next year to make it bigger and better. We plan on moving the game to a weeknight so all the senior players can attend (some were committed elsewheres). Hopefully, next year when I ask for help more people will be willing to step forward? After all, the girls deserve a good as the boys.

Well, thats all for now, I;m off to Santa Maria to work the Central California "B" Championships this weekend. Teams are playing for berths in the ASA "B" Nationals. Maybenext week I can take some time off?
